Launching the ‘Women of Ascend’ Program

Women of AscendAscend GW is excited to launch our Women of Ascend (WOA) program. The WOA program is designed to help Pan-Asian female professionals address common challenges as they advance their careers within their respective organizations. The program will provide guidance and advice on issues that matter to the hearts and minds of Pan Asian female professionals, as well as tools and techniques to strengthen key attributes that will help them achieve their career aspirations. It is with pride and excitement to announce that Anna Kim will lead the Ascend GW’s WOA program.

Anna KimAnna Kim is a Managing Director at Accenture providing financial management solutions in the areas of financial system implementation, finance transformation, business process improvement, strategic planning and programming, budget planning and performance management. Her 25+ years of experience comes from supporting various corporate and Federal CFO/financial organizations in accounting and budget management, and financial system transformation supports. Started from corporate finance, she spent the last 15 years helping federal clients modernize financial management systems and improve budget and performance management at DHS, DoD, Energy and HHS. She led and implemented a large HHS Financial Management solution in support of the Affordable Care Act. She is a CPA and PMP licensed professional who is currently supporting the U.S. Navy to prepare for the financial statement audit and system compliance efforts.
