Nishita Henry (LinkedIn)
Federal Technology Practice Leader, Deloitte

Ms. Henry is Deloitte’s Federal Technology practice leader, providing advisory, implementation, and operations services to every cabinet-level agency in the US government. She leads more than 3,000 practitioners as they assist federal agencies in transforming into more efficient, effective organizations. In addition, she regularly advises federal CIO’s and technology leaders on topics of modernization and innovation, digitizing government, cloud strategy, and customer experience.

Ms. Henry previously served as the Federal Innovation leader where she stood up a grass-roots innovation engine for development of products and solutions. Prior to that she served as the Technology Strategy & Architecture leader where she started the development of our Federal Cloud offering and lead. Ms. Henry led Deloitte’s work at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) transforming business and technology from the production floor to the back office. Her experience also includes leading the work at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to create new ways for industry to interact with FDA and improve drug quality efforts and is working. Her most recent experience has been leading the modernization of a travel distribution platform for Amtrak to improve the customer experience from reservations to ridership.

Ms. Henry holds an MBA from Darden, University of Virginia, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband and two daughters who keep her busy with dance, dance, and more dance!


Jimmy Kang (LinkedIn)
Senior Manger, Ernst & Young

Mr. Kang is a Senior Manager in the Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young based in the Tysons office. His experience is concentrated in third party assurance reporting (SOC reports), IT SOX audit, and security reviews over various ERP and operating platforms and databases. He has provided these services for Fortune 100 companies in a wide range of industries including: financial services, power & utilities, healthcare, hospitality, diversified products, government, telecommunication, software and education industries. Mr. Kang is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Finance degree and minor in Management Information Systems.

Anthony (Tony) Scardino, Panelist
Acting Deputy Director, United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO)

Mr. Scardino is the Acting Deputy Director for the United States Patent and Trademark Office, overseeing 13,000 employees across all agency operations. He is also the agency’s Chief Financial Officer responsible for leading and improving financial management, accounting, acquisition, and budgeting. In 2014, he received the Meritorious Presidential Rank Award—an honor given annually by the President to no more than 5 percent of the government’s Senior Executive Service for “sustained extraordinary accomplishment”. He is also the nation’s 2017 recipient of the Frank Greathouse Distinguished Leadership award and a class of 2017 National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) Fellow.

Stefanie’s areas of expertise include global I&D, I&D analytics, Unconscious Bias learning, engagement and retention strategies as well as Leadership Development and Talent Management.


Pritha Mehra, Panelist

Ms. Sukumaran leads talent management for the Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness (LOE) practice within AlixPartners. With over 15 years experience across professional services, automobile and pharmaceutical industries, she is a trusted business partner who specializes in helping clients translate their business plans into strategic HR operations with successful execution.

Ms. Sukumaran has an undergraduate degree in Law from University of Mumbai, and earned her Masters Degree in Human Resource Management (MHRM) from the School of Management and Labor Relations, at Rutgers University.


Winson Heng, Moderator

Mr. Heng is a Principal in Deloitte’s Consulting Federal Government Practice. He has over 25 years of experience in government. He currently serves as a Client Engagement Partner for Deloitte’s Department of State and Millennium Challenge Corporation accounts. Mr. Heng has experience working in North America, Asia Pacific, and Middle East and North Africa regions. He serves on the Board of Directors of Ascend Greater Washington Area (GWA) Chapter and as the Deloitte Rosslyn Office Culture Champion. Mr. Heng has also served as the Partner Champion of the Deloitte GWA Asian Affinity Group from 2009 to 2014. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an M.B.A. degree in Finance from Oklahoma City University.
