Linda SinghMajor General Linda L. Singh
Retired Managing Director, Accenture

Major General Singh was appointed as the 29th Adjutant General of Maryland effective January 21st, 2015. The Adjutant General is responsible for the daily operations of the Maryland Military Department which includes the Maryland Army National Guard, Maryland Air National Guard, Maryland Emergency Management Agency, and Maryland Defense Force. Major General Singh serves as the senior advisor to the Governor for these state agencies and is responsible for the readiness, administration and training of more than 6,700 members of the Maryland Military Department. As the Adjutant General, she serves as the official channel of communication between the Governor and the National Guard Bureau and serves as a member of the Governor’s cabinet. Major General Singh also serves as the chair of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Advisory Council (SAPRAC) and as a member of the Army Reserve Force Policy Committee (ARFPC).

Prior to her current assignment, Major General Linda L. Singh served as the Assistant Adjutant General – Army for the Maryland Army National Guard and the primary advisor to the Adjutant General on Maryland Army Guard issues. As the Assistant Adjutant General – Army, she was responsible for supporting the formulation, development and coordination of all programs, policies and plans affecting the Maryland Army National Guard, a force of over 4,600 Soldiers. Major General Singh also provided guidance and supervision of all training, personnel, logistics and other matters in relation to the Maryland Army National Guard.

She recently retired as Managing Director in Public Safety Portfolio, Accenture Federal Services in Alexandria, Virginia in May 2016. She held responsibilities in the area of business operations for the Health and Public Service North America. Here she operated a unit that developed and managed all operational activities to include the financials, strategic business plans, quality programs, program delivery, human resource management, business approvals and sales activities for a budget that exceeded $3 billion dollars.

Young BangYoung Bang
Senior Vice President, Booz Allen Hamilton

Mr. Bang is a leader in the firm’s NextGen Analytics business within the Strategic Innovation Group (SIG) for Booz Allen Hamilton. In this role, he leads the NextGen Analytics initiative which is focused on developing and scaling state of the art Data Science, Big Data solutions and Advanced/Predictive Analytics capabilities. Mr. Bang drives the vision, strategy, investments, and delivery of NextGen Analytics across Defense and Intelligence Markets. He also provided leadership to Epidemico a wholly owned subsidiary to Booz Allen. He is a recognized expert in Data Science, technology strategy, architecture and design, systems development and health information technology.

Prior to assuming a leadership role in NextGen Analytics, Mr. Bang was a leader in the firm’s civil health business where he provided leadership support to drive the growth of the firm’s Health and IT business supporting clients including the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Health and Human Services (CDC, NIH, FDA and HHS HQ). Previously he provided IT leadership to clients in the MHS, Army, DLA, OSD and other DoD Agencies.

Mr. Bang is on the Board of Directors for the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE). SASE is a nonprofit organization that promotes the influence of Asians in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields and helps scientific and engineering professionals of Asian heritage achieve their full potential. Additionally, he is a member of the Executive Steering Committee for Booz Allen’s Asian Agenda. He is also a Board Member for Jool Health and teaches an undergraduate course in Health IT at Georgetown.

Bhushan DeodharBhushan Deodhar, Speaker
Chief Executive Officer, Shankara, Inc

Mr. Deodhar’s leadership has furthered the development of multiple businesses and teams across the U.S. and abroad. Currently, as the President of Sumeru, a software consulting firm, and CEO of Shankara Skincare, an all-natural anti-aging skin care products company, he has expanded the reach and performance of these businesses. He also works as a faculty for the Transformational Leadership for Excellence workshop developed by the International Association for Human Values. Over the last six years, Mr. Deodhar has delivered leadership programs to executives and business school students at the World Bank, the United Nations, Shell Corporation, Coco Cola, Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, MIT Sloan School of Business, Harvard Business School, Kellog Business School, and many others. He is currently consulting with the World Bank Institute to develop a leadership program called ‘Greater Than Leadership’ specifically aimed towards public sector leaders from developing economies to help with various social reform initiatives. Prior to leading Sumeru and Shankara skincare, he worked at Nortel Networks and Oracle Corporation for more than 10 years in various management roles. Mr. Deodhar has a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas, Arlington.

Kimo KippenKimo Kippen, Speaker
Vice President of Global Workforce Initiatives, Hilton Worldwide

Mr. Kippen, former Chief Learning Officer (CLO) and now Vice President of Global Workforce Initiatives at Hilton Worldwide, is responsible for creating lifelong learning alternatives for Hilton’s hundreds of thousands of team members. His accomplishments as a learning leader earned him recognition as the 2016 Chief Learning Officer of the Year in CLO Magazine. Mr. Kippen was recently selected as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) of which Hilton Worldwide is a founding member. He has served as Chairman of the Board for the Association for Talent Development (formerly, American Society for Training & Development) in 2007, is a member of the organization’s Public Policy Council, sits on the board for the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), and is actively involved with Business Champions as a representative for Hilton Worldwide. Prior to joining Hilton, he worked for Marriott International for 21 years and has served as Vice President of Human Resources for Renaissance Hotels and Resorts, North America. Mr. Kippen holds an M.S. in Career and Human Resource Development from Rochester Institute of Technology, a B.S. from the University of Hawaii, and is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s Post Graduate Program.

Winson HengWinson Heng, Panelist

Mr. Heng is a Principal in Deloitte’s Consulting Federal Government Practice. He has over 25 years of experience in government. He currently serves as a Client Engagement Partner for Deloitte’s Department of State and Millennium Challenge Corporation accounts. Mr. Heng has experience working in North America, Asia Pacific, and Middle East and North Africa regions. He serves on the Board of Directors of Ascend Greater Washington Area (GWA) Chapter and as the Deloitte Rosslyn Office Culture Champion. Mr. Heng has also served as the Partner Champion of the Deloitte GWA Asian Affinity Group from 2009 to 2014. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an M.B.A. degree in Finance from Oklahoma City University.

Mr. Mok is the Managing Member of Condor International Advisors, LLC, a Washington DC based management consulting firm. Condor International Advisors provides strategic and innovative relationship management and advisory services to domestic and international clients in both Federal and private sectors.

Mr. Mok served as the Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Department of Labor from January 2001 to May 2007. After being appointed to the position by President George W. Bush, Mr. Mok was confirmed by the United States Senate in January 2002. He previously serves as Chief Financial Officer and Comptroller of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, appointed by former Treasury Secretary James Baker. Mr. Mok is one of the highest-ranking Asian Americans in George W. Bush Administration and is regarded as a leader of the Chinese-American community.

Ms. Stoltzfus is a Partner in PwC’s Banking and Capital Markets group, providing assurance and advisory services to large financial institutions. Diana is currently the partner on the Investments and Capital Markets segment of Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) and the lead partner on Navy Federal Credit Union. Her 12+ years of experience have primarily focused on external integrated audits of financial statements, internal controls over financial reporting, internal audit engagements, and system implementations.

Ms. Wan is a Manager in PwC’s Advisory practice. She specializes in data management, with significant time dedicated to leading large-scale, complex projects. Kumar KolinKumar Kolin, Panelist

Mr. Kolin joined Deloitte’s Federal Technology consulting practice from Deloitte’s Information Technology Services (ITS) where he served as the Deputy CIO for the Deloitte US firms. In that role he managed a team of over 1600 spread across the US, USI, Ukraine, Argentina and Colombia. He also served as the Chief Architect and Chief User Experience Evangelist for ITS. In addition to his role as the Deputy CIO, Kumar served as the Digital Innovation Leader responsible for incubating and introducing disruptive trends, such as artificial intelligence, cognitive computing, Internet of Things (IoT), augmented and virtual reality, wearables, and big data into Deloitte. Prior to that, Mr. Kolin served as the Managing Director of Deloitte US-India (USI) responsible for India’s strategy and operations for Deloitte US. From 2003 to 2005, he served as the Deloitte’s Leader for Enterprise Applications and CRM in USI.

Ms. Abiusi is a Managing Director with Accenture Federal Services, where she is the Technology Civilian Lead. She holds various roles in Inclusion & Diversity: US Executive Sponsor of the Asian Pacific American Employee Resource Group, Inclusion and Diversity lead for the US Postal Service account, and the Women in Technology (WIT) DC program lead. Ms. Abiusi leads Accenture’s relationship with Ascend and serves on the Greater Washington Board of Advisors and is a member of the DC Corporate Executive Initiative. She won the 2015 National Ascend High Impact Leader Award and was a finalist for the WIT Technology Leadership Award this year [in 2016]. In her personal life, Ms. Abiusi is married with two children: a nine-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son.
